Year'2012!!
New year started with the addition of a new member in my family, my nephew Deepanshu came into our life.. he's such a sweetheart. I went to my hometown in February to see him, my sister had also came to see him as well. It was a short trip so my parents didn't talk to me regarding the marriage matter .... aaha i was relieved.
After 3 months again I went home but this time it was my cousin's marriage. An awesome marriage, enjoyed a lot, after so many years, met all of my cousin's. During marriage time many people talked about my marriage to my parents, O God, these relatives sometimes interfere so much..in our personal matters.. (I just hate it).
During this time, Sachin's sister also got engaged and her marriage date also got fixed. It was a good news for us as my parents were waiting for his sister's marriage, so that they can talk to his parents regarding our marriage.
And the day finally came after 2 month when our parents spoke to each other for the first time over phone. It was a causal talk. Sachin's Dad asked my Dad to come to his place so that they can meet in person and discuss. My Dad accepted his invitation and fixed the meeting for post Diwali. We both were very nervous for our parents meeting, as we wanted everything to go smooth as they were meeting for the first time.
Finally the Meeting day came, my Dad and Jiju went to his place to meet his family. The meeting went well, but they didn't talk about marriage dates or something as his sister's marriage was pending. And his parents wanted to fix all these things post their daughter's marriage. We both were bit relaxed after this as now the things were under control and our parents were quite OK with our decisions.
Overall the year 2012 was a fruitful year.
